Birdhouse Design Project
Clarksville, Tennessee, is experiencing a high rate of urban sprawl that is forcing animals like the prothonotary warbler from their native forests.
The Clarksville Urban Birdhouse functions as part of an urban setting that unites humans, buildings, and birds together. A 3D-printed PLA base can be readily printed in or shipped to Clarksville. Utilizing Clarksville’s own ceramicists, faux-brick panels crafted by local artisans are attached to the base, enabling the birdhouse to blend with and enhance the distinct style of architecture found in downtown Clarksville.
