The Lincoln Ibis is the future of American grand touring, channeling the grace of Lincoln’s iconic mid century designs while integrating electric and autonomous technologies. The one-seat Ibis is summoned via a smartphone application, taking its passenger to whichever destination he or she desires. A foot-long aerodynamic “tail” extends out of the car’s rear for more aerodynamic efficiency on highways and retracts for easier navigation and parking in the city.
Lincoln Ibis was awarded the Merit Award of Excellence in Industrial Design from Florida International University and Design and Architecture Senior High.
